2 kinds of people
Businesses sign up for FiveStariz to ask their own customers for reviews. Customers of those businesses get a text or email from the business, sent through FiveStariz. For customer details, the business decides what to send and to whom. We process those details for the business, on its instructions.
What we collect
- From businesses: name, email, password (stored as a hash), business name, address, phone, review links, logo, and billing details (handled by Stripe; we never see full card numbers).
- About customers, from the business: first and last name, mobile number, email, and details the business sends, such as who did the job.
- When a customer uses a link: when it was opened, star ratings, which review site button was pressed, private feedback, and words they chose to share.
- Replies to texts, including STOP, START and HELP, and delivery reports from the phone networks.
Why we use it
To send the review requests the business asked for, to show the business its results, to stop messages to anyone who opted out, to keep the service safe, and to bill businesses. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer details for our own marketing.
Text messages and mobile numbers
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Mobile numbers are only passed to the text message carrier (Twilio) to deliver the messages the business sends.
Who helps us run it
Hosting (DigitalOcean), text messages (Twilio), email delivery (the business's own email server or our email provider), Google (to find a business and read its public review count), and Stripe (payments). Each gets only what it needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
Business accounts are kept while they are open. Customer details are kept until the business deletes them or closes its account. Businesses in healthcare mode can have contact details removed automatically after a set time. Opt outs are kept so we never contact that number or email again.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email, to stop messages from that business. To see, correct or delete your details, ask the business that contacted you, or write to us at radhika@totodreammarketing.com and we will pass it on or help directly.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Keys for connected software are stored encrypted. Only people the business invites can see its data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Big changes are emailed to business account owners.
